the last day.
wow, was this day EVER filled with emotion! i mean, we both started crying the night before.
but before we left, Leslie was in the kitchen and i went to the living room to get the babies.
i think one of them was upset. i can't remember. but what i do know is that i had them both
side by side in my lap and i was just completely overcome with emotion.
i started crying and almost just couldn't quit.
i think we both cried off and on all day.
but it was a beautiful time together.
anyways, so we decided to head to another beach for my last day.
this one had NO one and i do believe my favorite part of beaching is the hunting for sea glass
and other little treasures. i brought the boys home a bunch, as well as some shells
and a couple small pieces of legit driftwood.
we had her older two kids with us and they are all just amazing little humans.
i love her kids so much.
these clouds, i had to *try* and capture how low they were, but i'm not sure i really succeeded.
there's something truly amazing about seeing her holding my little baby.
Leslie, you are so gorgeous. I love you to pieces. You are soothing to my soul.
Thank you for letting me come and visit again.
I'm so glad we made this a mandatory tradition!! Even with wee little babies.
I think that makes it even better!
i can't wait to go back again.

So happy for you both :) fun!
ReplyDeleteWhere's that beach?? My son collects rocks. Looks like a good spot to find some.
